Despite being the wettest June since records began in 1910 the electricity generated was still on target which shows how huge the electricity generation would be if we had a massively sunny month. On the whole June was another poor month for solar power as it was very mixed weather as April and May had been.
A blog all about the 3kWp PV Solar panels installed in Nov 2011 in Kent UK by Solar Advanced Systems. Follow the ongoing performance and how much solar power we generate over the next few months as well as the problems and solutions we encounter along the way such as solar panels electric meter going backwards. We are registered with British Gas for our FIT payments and our roof is SSW facing. We have 14 x Sungrid 215W solar panels and Sunny Boy 3000HF inverter.
are there figs for different parts of the country ie. average sun hrs per month..were up in north wales, near Manchester,is there a north/south difference (as with most things)very poor day today
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to get some data from other solar panel installations around the UK that have the Sunny Boy inverters as I can process that automatically. It would be nice to see the difference it makes.
Deletehas to be a new record 1.120wh produced today 06/07/12 omg
ReplyDeleteThe reason we've still got a drought here - virtually no rain today and over 10kWh as its been sunny this afternoon.
